NMEA 2000 Standards Committee July 2008 Meeting
The July 2008 Meeting of the NMEA 2000 Standards Committee will be held in London, UK at the British Standards Institute the week of July 14th through July 18th, 2008. The meeting will be divided into two parts:
- PlugFest - An opportunity for manufacturers to connect and test their products in an operational NMEA 2000 backbone with several other manufacturer's products. Any product may be brought, certified or just in development. The objective is to provide a venue for manufacturers to work with other manufacturers to understand and resolve interoperability issues. [July 14th and July 15th]
- Standards Committee Meeting - Quarterly meeting of the Standards Committee for reviewing the activities of the various working groups and entertaining new proposals for including in the standard.
